Joseph Reuben is a British composer and music producer based in Los Angeles. His music has been described by New York Times writer David Graver as both ”explosive” and “genre-bending’. Reuben’s work includes collaborations with acclaimed Hollywood film directors such as Noam Murro (300: Rise of An Empire) and Justin Hardy; leading him to be covered in L’uomo Vogue’s cinema issue alongside the likes of Jude Law and Monica Belluci.
Reuben’s award-winning work with global brands includes scoring The Cannes Lions winning commercial for The Prince’s Trust, the Xerox commercial for the 2017 Superbowl, and multi-global television campaigns for Marriott, Chevrolet and Swarovski. He has also become a favourite with fashion mavericks; his compositions feature in short films for both Dita Von Teese and Charlotte Olympia.
In 2017 Joseph was selected by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s Royal Collection Trust to score an immersive theatre production of A Christmas Carol, performed at the Royal Family’s Windsor Castle residence. Last year, Reuben partnered up with multi Grammy-winning music producer Stewart Lerman (Martin Scorsese, Wes Anderson) to compose and produce a pop-record at the iconic Electric Lady Studios, NYC which will be released in late 2019.
